Happy Mornings

Every morning we look forward to a fresh flower shipment. Deliveries come in, and it’s boxes and boxes packed with beautiful flowers! It always puts a smile on my face..  Everyone at the studio stops whatever they are doing and we all hurry to open the boxes – almost like presents under a Christmas tree. Flowers are checked, counted, sorted, cleaned, conditioned and put in water to hydrate.  So much work and care goes into this process; it’s really amazing how much nurturing cut flowers need and what a difference proper treatment could make in cut flower longevity and bloom development.  There is a whole science to it!  Thankfully, at Flower Elegance, we love what we do and don’t mind the hard work, on the contraire, we look forward to it 6 days a week!
